Russian as a Foreign Language
The program is aimed at mastering Russian as a foreign language from zero level (A0) to basic level (A2), developing linguistic, sociolinguistic, discursive, and sociocultural competencies. It is based on a communicative-oriented teaching approach and fosters confident communication in Russian in real-life situations.
Goals of the program:
- Level A1: development of elementary communicative skills for minimal interaction with native speakers, ability to express oneself briefly on simple topics, reading and writing of simple words and sentences.
- Level A2: expansion of interpersonal communication and ability to handle practical tasks in everyday situations, understanding and use of simple phrases and sentences for communication on familiar topics.
Expected results:
- Students acquire phonetic, lexical, and grammatical skills necessary for confident speech.
- Sociocultural competencies are developed, including understanding norms of communication and behavior in Russian-speaking environments.
- Children learn to engage in dialogues, ask questions, and express their thoughts and feelings in Russian.
The program focuses on creating a comfortable environment for learning Russian, where each child can realize their potential and confidently use the language in daily life.
